Jennifer Lopez and Her Sexy Makeover

Jennifer Lopez may be a mom, but she doesn’t want to look matronly! And her husband, Marc Anthony, isn’t happy about it

Maybe it was the response to her fugly VMAs outfit (which BettyConfidential readers totally hated), but Jennifer Lopez is planning on changing her image.

The 40-year-old, who has been working on a new album that’s due for release in January, “wants to look sexy,” an insider tells BettyConfidential.

J. Lo recently filmed a video for “Lola,” the first single from her upcoming CD. The title of the song is husband Marc Anthony’s nickname for Jennifer and it was produced by uberproducer Pharrell Williams and features Pitbull. At the VMAs, Pitbull described the video as “an upscale Eyes Wide Shut… where my role is being taken advantage of by these beautiful women who are, like, massaging me.”

When Rolling Stone asked him if J.Lo was one of the women laying hands on him, he replied, “No! You’re gonna get me in trouble with Marc!”



And friends say it’s not surprising he joked about Marc that way because the Latin crooner has been keeping a close eye on his wife — so much so that J. Lo’s friends are advising her to stop letting her husband tell her what to do and what to wear.

“Jennifer has been under Marc’s control for too long,’’ says a source. ‘’And, she’s been asking him to back off for several months now. But Marc keeps trying to keep her looking matronly and maternal.” And, that doesn’t sit well with J. Lo!




The pal says the mother of 18-month-old twins Emme and Max wants to be on the fashion pages of magazines, not on the worst-dressed lists.



“She finally put her foot down and told Marc that he can’t continue to control what she wears,’’ adds the insider. “She wants someone to make her look hot and not a husband who thinks she should cover up and look like a grandmother.’’



The insider says that Jennifer is even thinking about getting career advice from someone other than Marc and she’s planning to reveal a sultry new image to promote her single and album.

‘’Marc has backed off a bit and hopes she will change her mind,” the pal says. “He’s very jealous and doesn’t like the idea of men looking at her. He will still remind her that she’s a mom first and should nix the sexy look. ‘You have kids now,’ he says.” But the insider says Jennifer likes revealing clothes and tells Marc that “she owes it to her fans to look hot.”
